PJ's Rebar Calculator Use part A for straight runs of bar, such as in footings.
Use part B for arrays of rebar such as in a wall or a floor slab.

PART A

    Notes:
  • Lap factor, highlighted in green, set at standard 40 bar diameters. Change to accommodate differing specifications.
  • Length of hooks, highlighted in blue, is set at standard and may be changed to accommodate local standards.
  • Insert in yellow highlighted columns rebar length in feet, quantity and number of hooks

PART B

    Notes:
  • Lap factor, highlighted in green,  set at standard 40 bar diameters. Change to accommodate differing specifications.
  • Length of hooks, highlighted in blue, is set at standard and may be changed to accommodate local standards.
  • In column B insert the square feet of area covered by an array of rebar.
  • In column C insert a 1 if bars are one way only. A 2 if each way; 4 if same size each way top and bottom.
  • Insert the number of hooks in column I.
